T-Low recently expressed his frustration on social media, calling out Amigos Events ZM for failing to pay him and other artists who performed at the Kopala Shut Down event in Ndola.
The event, held on December 28, 2024, at the Waterfront in Ndola, was heavily promoted using the images of various artists, including T-Low. Despite their contributions to the event’s success, T-Low revealed that he and others had not been compensated for their work.
In his post, T-Low said, “Don’t book artists if you don’t have money. It’s disrespectful to use our names and images to fill up your event and then not honor your agreements.” His statement highlights the ongoing challenges artists face when dealing with event organizers who fail to uphold their contractual obligations.
Fans and fellow musicians have rallied around T-Low, calling for better treatment and respect for artists in the Zambian music industry. This incident serves as a reminder of the need for more professional and transparent dealings between event organizers and performers.
